Description
The Emi's pleated fabric shade curves and folds like a piece of paper sculpture. When it is lit, the pleats catch the light at different angles, so the shade glows in soft bands rather than as one flat surface.

Size & hanging guide
At Ø 60 cm, this light suits a dining table around 90–120 cm wide.
- Over a dining table: choose a light around ½ to ⅔ of the table's width and hang it 75–90 cm above the tabletop.
- Over a kitchen island: use two or three pendants, spaced roughly 60–75 cm apart.
- Living rooms and hallways: leave at least 210 cm between the floor and the bottom of the light.
Cable length: Adjustable suspension cord — set the drop to suit your space when it's fitted.

Do I need an electrician?
Yes. This light is hardwired, so we recommend fitting by a qualified electrician. It's designed for standard UK mains (220–240V).
What bulb does it use?
E27 LED-compatible bulbs.
Can I change the colour of the light?
Yes. It takes a standard E27 bulb, so you can swap it for any colour temperature you like: around 2700K for a soft, cosy glow, 3000K for classic warm white, or 4000K for a brighter, crisper light. Smart bulbs that change colour work too. If you use a dimmer switch, choose a dimmable LED bulb.
Can I shorten the cable?
Yes, easily. The cable is adjustable, so you can set the light at exactly the height you want. It's done at the ceiling canopy when the light is fitted: your electrician sets the drop and neatly tidies away the extra cable. As a guide, over a dining table or kitchen island most people hang it around 75–85 cm above the surface.
Is it dimmable?
No — it works with a standard on/off switch.
When will it arrive?
It's in stock in the UK. We dispatch within 1–2 working days and DPD delivers it the next working day, free and tracked.
What if it arrives damaged?
Every light is carefully packaged to arrive in perfect condition. If anything arrives damaged, we'll arrange a replacement or a full refund.
Can I return it?
