2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase from our store. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Our products are intended for residential use within the United Kingdom.
3. Product Information
We make every effort to provide accurate descriptions, images, and specifications. However, slight variations in colour, finish, or dimensions may occur due to the handcrafted or natural nature of our materials. These do not constitute defects.
4. Pricing & Availability
All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit quantities of any product at any time.
5. Orders & Cancellations
When you place an order, we will send a confirmation email. This is an acknowledgement, not a binding acceptance — we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order due to limited stock, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or incorrect customer details. In such cases, a full refund will be issued promptly.
Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled. If you wish to return an item, please refer to our Returns Policy.
6. Electrical Products & Safety
All lighting products sold by Kaito & Co are designed for UK electrical standards (220–240V, 50Hz). Professional installation by a qualified electrician is strongly recommended, particularly for hardwired ceiling and wall fixtures.
By purchasing an electrical product, you agree to follow all supplied safety instructions, comply with Part P of the UK Building Regulations, and accept that Kaito & Co is not liable for damage or injury resulting from improper installation, incorrect wiring, or non-compliance with electrical regulations.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including images, text, product descriptions, and branding — is the property of Kaito & Co / Danida Group Ltd and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaito & Co is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to installation-related damage or injury, delays in delivery, or loss of use. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Delivery
Estimated delivery timeframes are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed. They do not constitute grounds for cancellation unless a parcel is confirmed lost or delivery exceeds the maximum timeframe stated in our Shipping Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
