Description
Koto is a small globe of natural marble hung from a slim, dark oval loop, finished with a fine brass-tone detail. When it is lit, the stone glows from within and its veining comes through softly, so each light looks a little different from the next. Small enough to hang low beside a bed, striking enough to hang in a row above an island.

Size & hanging guide
At Ø 12 / 15 cm, it works best as a pair or trio over a table or island, or on its own over a small table.
- Over a dining table: choose a light around ½ to ⅔ of the table's width and hang it 75–90 cm above the tabletop.
- Over a kitchen island: use two or three pendants, spaced roughly 60–75 cm apart.
- Living rooms and hallways: leave at least 210 cm between the floor and the bottom of the light.

Do I need an electrician?
Yes. This light is hardwired, so we recommend fitting by a qualified electrician. It's designed for standard UK mains (220–240V).
What bulb does it use?
1 × G9 LED bulb, included. Bulbs are included, so it's ready to use from day one.
Can I change the colour of the light?
Yes. It takes a standard G9 bulb, so you can swap it for any colour temperature you like: around 2700K for a soft, cosy glow, 3000K for classic warm white, or 4000K for a brighter, crisper light. If you use a dimmer switch, choose a dimmable LED bulb.
Can I shorten the cable?
Yes, easily. The cable is adjustable, so you can set the light at exactly the height you want. It's done at the ceiling canopy when the light is fitted: your electrician sets the drop and neatly tidies away the extra cable. As a guide, over a dining table or kitchen island most people hang it around 75–85 cm above the surface.
Why does it take 3–4 weeks?
This piece is made to order rather than held in stock, so it's prepared for you once you order. Delivery is free. We'll email you updates while it's being prepared, and a tracking number once it ships where one is available.

This piece is made to order and is usually delivered within 3–4 weeks, free of charge. We'll keep you updated by email, and if it runs behind the estimate we'll let you know with a revised date.
What if it arrives damaged?
Every light is carefully packaged to arrive in perfect condition. If anything arrives damaged, we'll arrange a replacement or a full refund.
